Carers and Consent

NHS Scotland has produced a new information leaflet for carers on the issue of consent. It outlines your right to be involved in decisions about the health of the person you care for. It gives informationon your rights under the Adults with Incapacity Act 2000 and explains terms such as ‘incapacity’ and how doctors decide whether someone is able to give consent.
