Dundee Integration Joint Board (IJB) 2026/27 Budget Consultation

The Dundee IJB has launched its 2026/27 Budget Consultation.
Dundee IJB must reduce spending by £12.6 million in 2026/27. The scale of the savings required means that the IJB can’t keep providing the same services in the same way. They need to find efficiencies, change how services work, and may have to do less overall. These are tough choices, and there are no easy options left that won’t affect people.
The IJB wants to hear from the public, workforce and service providers before setting the budget, inparticular:
- Unpaid carers
- Disabled people
- Families
- Anyone who uses or benefits from local services
- Wider community supporters
Some of this financial gap will be met through operational efficiencies. However, other savings options will result in changes to how services are delivered or in some cases, stopping some services altogether.
