Random fact

I have alot of pets, including a very large Tamworth pig called Hagrid!

What do you do to support your wellbeing?

I love to relax and unwind with a good book and a cuppa. I also find being outdoors, whether that’s gardening or going on a hike, to be vital for my wellbeing, both physically and mentally. Finally, a swim in the Loch always helps me clear my head and relax my body. Though I must confess- I am a fair-weather wild swimmer!

What made me get involved?

The work that unpaid carers do often goes unnoticed in our society; I feel so pleased to play a role in bringing this vital work further into the light. Being able to offer carers a place to have time for themselves, be listened to and empowered feels like vital work, and it’s a joy to be part of it.
