Thank You, Trudy

At our recent AGM, we took a moment to recognise and celebrate the outstanding contribution of Trudy McLeay, who has recently stepped down from her role as a Trustee after 4 years of dedicated service to Dundee Carers Centre.

In a poignant tribute, our CEO, Neil Campbell, thanked Trudy for her unwavering commitment, compassion and leadership over the years, before presenting her with a bouquet on behalf of the organisation.

Trudy has brought a wealth of knowledge and experience to the Board throughout her time with us. From her distinguished career in healthcare, education and governance, to her passionate advocacy for fairness, equality and unpaid carers, she has helped shape and strengthen our organisation in countless ways.

Drawing on her own lived experience as a carer, Trudy has always championed the importance of providing the right support and information for carers, ensuring their voices remain at the heart of what we do.

On behalf of everyone at Dundee Carers Centre, we extend our heartfelt thanks to Trudy for her years of dedication, wisdom and support. We wish her every happiness and success in the next chapter ahead.
