Please see below events we have planned to provide people with information to help support them.

Citizens Advice Bureau – Information Session
(In -person event)

  • Wednesday 22nd November 23
  • 12-2pm
  • C-Gate Centre, 134 Seagate

We will be joined by Lauren from CAB Dundee, who will be doing a short presentation on the financial support that is available to unpaid carers and their families and how they can go about accessing this. There will be time afterwards from some questions.

There will be refreshments from 12noon with the session starting at 12.30pm.

Carers Rights Day – Information Drop In

Staff from Dundee Carer Centre will be available to provide information to people about what support is available to unpaid carers, disabled people and their families.

No need to book simply pop along and say hello.


Groupwork Bite Size: Overview of Scottish Benefits

  • 10am – 12noon
  • C-Gate Centre, 134 Seagate

This 2-hour bitesize session will be an informal discussion about benefit entitlement for Carers and Disabled People. We will be looking at the new Scottish benefits (Adult Disability Payment, Child Disability Payment and Carers Support Payment, which will be replacing carers allowance). Together we will learn more about what these benefits are, how to apply and give you a better understanding on what information is needed when completing the application.
