Carers Rights Day – Know Your Rights!
Today is Carers Rights Day and although things are a little different this year, we have been working hard to make sure that carers are aware of their rights.
Carers of Dundee kicked the week off with an Assertiveness Workshop, that offered carers tips & advice on how to combat confidence issues.
We then launched the first of our Carer Connects Cafe on Tuesday where carers were invited for a cuppa & chat with some of our team.
We have another lined up on 22nd December at 12pm. If you would like to attend the next one, click here to book your place.
On Wednesday we had our Carers Rights Day themed Virtual Hub, where Lee from ILF Scotland was invited to speak about the Independent Living Fund which provides money, for up to one year, to support young people (aged 16-25 years of age) living with disabilities to improve their lives.
