Volunteers Week is here!

🎊 Volunteers Week 2024 is here!

Today marks the start of a very special week as we celebrate 40 years of Volunteers Week.

This Volunteers’ Week we recognise and express our thanks to all our volunteers, past and present, who form a vital part of our Dundee Carers Centre team. All our volunteers are committed in working with us to support unpaid carers and disabled people in Dundee. And many also offer their experience and understanding of being, or having been, an unpaid carer themselves. Our volunteers contribute their time and skills through a variety of different volunteer roles across the centre, including, adult and young carer ambassadors, peer mentors, counsellors, group helpers and trustees. Each volunteer, in their own way, use their strengths and skills to enhance our services and support. This year, we share in celebrating the 40th anniversary of Volunteers’ Week and recognise the incredible difference that volunteers have made to Dundee Carers Centre over many years. And we look forward to our volunteers continuing to be involved as a vital part of our team in the future, as we continue to develop our services for unpaid carers and disabled people. To all our fantastic volunteers, past and present, we say a heartfelt: Thank You!
