We are proud to support Carers Week 2023!

We are proud to share our support for Carers Week, an annual campaign that recognises and celebrates the invaluable contribution of unpaid carers in our communities. We understand the challenges carers face and are dedicated to providing them with the support they need.

At Dundee Carers Centre, we firmly believe in the importance of acknowledging the incredible work carers do. They selflessly care for their loved ones, often sacrificing their own well-being. Supporting Carers Week allows us to show our gratitude, raise awareness about carers’ needs, and advocate for positive change.

During Carers Week, we have organised several exciting events to celebrate carers and provide them with resources and support. Some of the key activities include:

Carers of Dundee Celebration Event

  • Wednesday, 7th June
  • C-Gate Centre, 128 Seagate Dundee
  • 1pm to 6pm!
Open to all carers and disabled people, families, the workforce, and businesses/organisations, this event promises an incredible experience.
📚 Information stalls open all day (1-6pm)
☕ Carers Café serving hot drinks and light bites (1-3pm)
🖋️ Creative writing showcase by a group of carers (3-4pm)
🎁 Giveaways, therapies, and amazing performances!
Organisations/Agencies attending include:
⏰ From 4-6pm, we’ll honour businesses and organisations who have signed up for the Dundee Carers Charter by presenting them with their certificates. Don’t miss this opportunity to network with fellow professionals in Dundee and discover the support available to unpaid carers in the city.
