Young Carers Resource Pack Pilot Launch

Dundee Carers Centre have developed a Young Carers Resource Pack for Young Carers; in partnership with young carers and Dundee Children and Families thanks to the Mental Health & Wellbeing Fund.

The packs will be used as a resource to support Primary Schools across the City to identify and support young carers as early as possible.

This resource adds to a whole range of resources co-produced with young carers and their families which have been developed so that schools, youth work teams and social work teams are well equipped to support young carers across the City

The resource packs will be piloted by three schools in the new year before being rolled out across the City in the spring.

The official launch will take place on Young Carers Action Day on 16 March where Young Carers will be Taking Action in Dundee
